A Week at Carlton Ridge
A guest itinerary — the best of the West Coast, at your own pace.
Day One
Arrival
Touch down and settle in. Ease into island time on the covered patio with a rum punch as the sun drops over the garden, or take a first dip in the pool before dinner in — the chef’s kitchen can be stocked and ready at your request, so there’s no need to leave the villa on day one.
Day Two
Alleynes Bay
A short drive to Alleynes Bay for a morning on the sand — calm, clear West Coast water, ideal for an easy swim before lunch back at the villa. Afternoon by the pool, sundowners at the wet bar. Dinner at The Fishpot is the perfect way to round off the day.
Day Three
Boat Trip & Snorkelling with Captain Dwayne
A full day on the water with Captain Dwayne’s cruises along the Platinum Coast — snorkelling with turtles and over a shipwreck, with rum punch on tap for the ride home. Pack a swimsuit and sun cream, and keep dinner back at the villa easy after a day in the sun.
Day Four
Limegrove & The Lone Star
Late start, then into Holetown for the afternoon — Limegrove Lifestyle Centre for shopping, a browse through the boutiques, maybe lunch out. In the evening, dinner at The Lone Star, the famed beachfront restaurant on the Platinum Coast, an easy walk or short drive from the villa.
Day Five
Friday Night in Oistins
No week in Barbados is complete without Friday night at Oistins — the fish fry, the music, the whole south coast turning out for grilled mahi-mahi and cold beer at communal tables. Loud, local, and one of the best nights on the island.
Day Six
Harrison's Cave
A change of pace inland: Harrison’s Cave for the underground tram tour through Barbados’s limestone caverns — cool, dramatic, and a good contrast to a week by the water. Back at the villa by afternoon for pool time and a quiet evening in.
